Hi, I'm Matt Kent, a highly distractable millenial aspiring polymath, living in Chicago.

During the day, I'm a marketing strategist who's spent over half a billion dollars in 15 years and has the greys to prove it. I do my best to nurture my team and revel in the opportunity to rebel against 'the way it's been done'. I'm obsessed with marketing science and convinced that it's about the larger picture (triangulated measurement), not any one data point - 'source of truth' is dead!

The golden hours of each day are spent frolicking through life with my best friend (also wife) and our boy. I love to color outside the lines, to dream and create across mediums like writing, food, drink, and photos. I'm inspired by the rarity of the unexpected, accidental, even random wonders that surround us. Humility is nonnegotiable when someone as flawed as me is faced with the overwhelming beauty of that man from Galilee, though I'm pretty bad at emulating him.
